Infrastructure

To see the location of this road, go to Google Maps and enter "Atlantic Road, Norway."  It's along the coast, about half-way between Alesund and Trondheim.

  3. I don't think it's like that all the time The film was shot the day after a huge North Atlantic Storm (Dagmar) hit Scandinavia. I'm visiting friends in Sweden now, and folks around here (on the other side of the Scandinavian peninsula) are still cleaning up the downed trees from that storm six months later.

  4. Beautiful! And incredibly haunting, especially if you think about mythological/fantasy story descriptions about stormy seas. Must be awesome to drive through on a day like that. Regarding infrastructure - the cost of upkeep must be incredibly high.
