From the comments I've received, I think it will not be fixable from my end. There seems to be some basic problem (perhaps especially with Macs) that I can't compensate for.
When I open my blog with Safari 5.0.2. on my iMac, all eight videos on the front page are shifted - 6 to the left and two downward.
The slipping youtube embed problem is back on my Safari.

But I don't have problems with other blogspot blogs. And people with Macs are the only readers worth having.
