TED talk about Mars

"Planetary scientist Joel Levine shows some intriguing -- and puzzling -- new discoveries about Mars: craters full of ice, traces of ancient oceans, and compelling hints at the presence, sometime in the past, of life. He makes the case for going back to Mars to find out more."

  1. The one thing I have never been able to understand is why scientists are still posing the question "is there other life in the universe?". You would have to be blind not to know that they exist and that they have already found us. Is it that they fear the public will panic? I have no idea, but I have seen alien craft in the night skies for over 30 years, and I have been withing 50 metres of an alien craft right here where I live.
You can't tell me that I have seen them with the naked eye (at most a pair of binoculars) and yet scientists with all their equipment have not detected any. Total rubbish.
    Sincerely, Le Loup.

  2. We can't afford to go to Mars. Let some other country do it, if they wish. If it's that important. Let's fix some stuff down here and quit assuming we have any destiny there.
