Minneapolis Public Library

Built in 1884 in Romanesque Revival style. This photo taken early 1900s, when visitors arrived by trolley (note the tracks), bicycle (note they are unchained), or horse-drawn cart.

It reminds me of the even-more magnificent Memphis Public Library.

If you appreciate impressive architecture, it's worth clicking the image to enlarge it to fullscreen, or even better go to the original image at Shorpy, which enlarges to scrollable immensity.
