Jon Stewart explains the conflict in Gaza

Jon Stewart addresses the Israel-Gaza conflict with a candor (and viewpoint) not often heard in the mainstream media. He views it as the "Mobius strip of issues" (it has only one side).

Found at the very interesting Pajama Pundit - candidate for a Weblog Award for Best Political Coverage and as Best Hidden Gem.

  1. Yet again, Stewart's complete ignorance of the subject brings giggles from his even more ignorant audience. The Israelis were just supposed to continue to ignore the 8300 Israelis killed because of Palestinian violence in the last 8 years?

And I didn't hear Stewart mention the Hamas teachings of 5 year olds to be proud suicide bombers

And somehow Stewart missed the more than 3,300 rockets Hamas fired into Israel last year.

    Stewart is an idiot.

  3. Dear Lisa:

Your complete ignorance of written language brings giggles from me. The very link you cited without bothering your third rate brain to actually read cites only 1176 Israelis killed. You quoted the wounded figure. Meanwhile Btselem reports over 5000 Palestinians killed during the same period, 98% of them on their own land (never mind that all of Palestine was Palestinian land before Zionism got the green light from British colonialism)

If you're going to try to spew Israeli foreign ministry propaganda, at least quote it correctly. Pathetic.

  4. Lisa -

Your data is for all Israelis killed, but the Gaza-related numbers are miniscule. Only 20 Israelis killed by rockets or attacks from Gaza, total, in ten years. The Gaza invasion is not porportionate to the Gaza problem.
