Green beach

Not environmentally "green," but literally green. Reportedly one of only two in the world. This is Papakolea Beach in Hawaii's Ka'u district. The green color comes from olivine crystals eroding from a nearby cinder cone.

At the link are pix of red, white, black, and multicolored beaches.
