A gallery of insect eggs


Presurfer has done it again, this time spotting an impressive photoessay about insect eggs; there are many excellent photos at the link, and a Google search will lead to hundreds more.

The image above shows lacewing eggs, which are laid on long stalks because the hatchlings are omnivorous and potentially cannibalistic.
